Canada - Determination of residency

Hi,

Do you need 2 fill out a determination of residency status for the tax office when leaving Canada to move back to the UK? Is it required or useful?

Good point! Well she has been there a month it also looks like we could not transport the cat in the winter months meaning it could be April before we can go anywhere. So she would have done 10...

Your right I'm just always mindful of how emplyers could think about it. 6 months at a job isn't long they could assume wanted to come home is code for fired.

We will have been here over 2 years it could look even worse that we where not working for that time. As it stands i'm no longer so worried about it instead I think...

Adding to this http://www.rightmove.co.uk will give you Council tax brackets for each region in the UK as long as you know which band the property falls into.
