Canada - Determination of residency

Hi,

Do you need 2 fill out a determination of residency status for the tax office when leaving Canada to move back to the UK? Is it required or useful?

Quick question for you all. Is it possible for a non resident to co-sign another non residents lease agreement on a car or does the co-signer have to be a resident / citizen?

Your right I'm just always mindful of how emplyers could think about it. 6 months at a job isn't long they could assume wanted to come home is code for fired.
