Cap and cease refunds

We were told in October that our application from about 6 years ago had been capped and ceased and that we were to get a refund of our visa money ( not the other £5000 that we spent!!)

As long as you are a native English speaker and hold UK, USA, Canadian or Irish passport then yes you can do that.

We know the feeling. My husband failed May 2008 and we waited for MAP for 7 months and he's just completed an AQFIII as a chef so hopefully we'll pass this time!! Good Luck!!

We just sent our TRA away last week (2nd time of trying). The TRA told me that you do not need the passport photos verified, tho i did put my husbands name and date of birth on back in case...

I'll be interested to hear how you get on. My Hubby is going through skills assessment as a chef but recent work experience as a computer support technician and we have been told it should be ok.

We are giving up on MAP ever being introduced so are now looking at AQF for chefs. We have been given a price of £2500 for my husband to do it in Britain. Is this a fair price? Does anyone know...

We're waiting too and starting to give up hope!! Booked 3 weeks in the Canaries for next year today to try and take our minds off our Aussie dream. Hopefully there'll be news soon.
