Ok..that's good to know thanks, did she settle ok? My oldest daughters birthday is January so she started school at 4, she would probably need to do the same, start high school here in Scotland then...

My girls are 8 and 10 just now but will probably be 10 and 12 by the time we (hopefully) get our visa...

Our 1st choice is Perth, then Brisbane, then Melbourne...what age do kids start high school...

I would be ok with the whole thing if I got a refund but think its so wrong that they are keeping a hold of peoples money like that...

How do you go about getting the IELTS re-assessed as my OH got 6.5 in one part of his as well, do you contact the centre where you sat the exam??

Thanks for that..... oh well need to book a re-sit as we need the 25 points, wont get one til October but that should be fine with the type of application we are applying for....

I dont know :blink:, I think if you want to get the extra 10 points (which we needed to get 120) and you are a native english speaker then you need to get 7 across all bands but I'm not 100% sure......

After reading a few other threads looks like we are in for a long wait, if your occupation isn't MODL or CSL or state sponsored then it probably wont be looked at this year...
