So I got a letter from the government the other day, opened it expecting it to be my ceremony invite, but no.

Seems my ceremony invite got lost in the post and they were asking me why i didn't...

Over 2 months since my interview and letter from Chris Bowen and still no invite to a ceremony. I know they have them every 2 months....

Received a lovely letter from The Hon Chris Bowen MP today telling me that my Citizenship application had been approved.

Just gotta wait for my Ceremony date now!

(and the lobotomy, of course)...

Had my test and interview in Melbourne yesterday. Passed the test with a 95% score, got one wrong - they don't tell you which one.
A relatively painless process, was in and out in 30 minutes.

Ceremonies are generally held at local council 'town halls'.

My local council publishes the dates of upcoming ceremonies on it's website.

Maybe check your local council website for those. At...

i tried my normal ACF number but it didnt work. hopefully there'll be some posh seats behind the bowlers arm for me. I enquired about corporate hospitality - $1695 per person on Boxing Day!
