Thanks for the quick replies - We are travelling at the end of the month and obviously cannot apply on line as too short notice.

Assume it's possible to get into Perth and sit out in passport...

Hey all,

A quickie - just to confirm when travelling outside of Oz when a Citizen UK passports cannot be used?

We are Citizens but have no Aussie passports - (well the missus and kids don't)...

RRV For Child

Hi,

I completed an RRV for myself in December after traveling without a valid VISA (Back into Oz) I did a 30 day temp VISA. So now I am valid for travel until Oct 2019

I have wife and two...

Sorry but I was talking about them saying I was out of the country for a long period... I would not be back in Australia calling them up today without having a record of re-entering.

To be honest how can it look like i have been out of the country for 6 months? I left to go on a skiing holiday when not on a valid VISA to return and...

Hope someone can clarify this...

I was granted my Permanent visa in Nov 2008 and arrived in Oz in Feb 2010.

Since then I have been on a few holidays with the family for no more than 50 days in...

16 months here in Perth and it has been brilliant so far. The weather has been amazing over here even though it was a bit fresh for the 1st time this year this morning!!! :rolleyes:

Tourist Visa Price.

Hi

I have family coming over from UK to WA for a few weeks.

A tourist visa is $105 pp right? and the only place to do it is on the immi website?

I spoke to the DIAC and it is $60. This is because it is only free the 1st time you have evidence placed in your passport. All other time are at a cost.

The exchange rate has not much to do with cost of living..when you are earning $$ .. Mortgage, utility bills, entertainment, beer etc in my opinion can all be paid and you can still have more money...

Hey... I will be going to perth to get the sticker swapped over soon so will see what the cost is!! The PO sent off my 4 year olds passport on Sep 11th and got back on the 28th september so well...

My daughter's was a renewal and the only docs I had to show was he existing uk passport which was sent with the application.

No other docs were needed from me...

Well I took her on sat morning and she was not required to be there in person! Little monkey!

Anyway $202 and 15mins of checking it was sent off to get renewed.... So we shall see how long it...

2 years!! Seriously I wanted a pool as a no1 feature to my home purchase but only bought this house without one as was such a bargain!! Shame there no pool now! :(

Anyway it less than 10 mins walk...
