Yes, I got the same e-mail and would definitely favour doing the shorter course opion. My concern is that they may only hold a shorter course if there is enough interest, so am hoping others...

No, you're not asking too much at all!!!
Have you looked at Okotoks or High River south of Calgary? Both communities are within easy reach of the city (20-30 mins) and are rich in cowboy culture....
