You might need to do more than that. On the LPAB website (the NSW site re admission as a sol), it sets out the requirements for overseas applicants. The requirements vary depending on the stage...

I wouldn't worry about living a lie - enough people speak to recruiters, you're not even going to work for a competitor!

I was pretty lucky, in that my boss has known about the Australia plan from when I was interviewed for my NQ role. I've been able to be very open about it and they've been really supportive.

I think Form 80 is one of those which you might be asked for. We havent filled one in (and our agent hasnt asked for it). I get the impression they aren't required every time.
