I've come to the same conclusion :( I'd need to stay overnight rather than drive the three hours up to Calgary, and there's very little chance really of seeing anything. Ah well.

Not sure how long it would take, but I always understood that if you were moving to the same/similar role, it wouldn't be a big deal.

I live in Fernie - I suspect Golden has the same issues as here - service industry means jobs are mainly seasonal and not that well paid ($10-$15 usually and most of them on the low side of that...

I got PNP approval last summer but because of moving house in september didn't send off PR application until mid December. We are kicking ourselves for this...
