Can't say we ever experienced crime in the UK...luck or just in a reasonable place...don't know. But crime happens everywhere and kids will get into trouble given the chance and steered away from it....

thanks for your reply. I think it depends on what you want and why you left. We are not that bothered about the sun, it's great for holidays our 2 weeks in Spain etc...but working full...

Hi,
we have used NZ Baggage Movers for our shipping, cost us about $1460.00 for 2.80 cubic metres, which for us was 22 2ft x 3ft boxes, and no pets so all OK.

No I haven't found anything...

Hi Andy
there is always agency work. It can often lead to a permanent position. Then there is child benefit and family tax credits so you should be OK.

There are a few industrial parks around...

we are off from Kerikeri in Northland back to North Yorks...a little village near York.

Yes making the decision was a tough one but for some reason is now a huge relief...silly but we miss...

the weather is far better than the UK, summer is lovely and hot, winter is wet but not bitterly cold...depending on where you live, we are North Island. Houses are not the same standard as...

Going Home

Well been here 2 years, tried it, tried to convince ourselves we loved it but always had that yearning to be back home in the UK.

Booked our flights going home in January.

We have just packed some boxes up to ship but are selling (or giving away) all the furniture, is cheaper to buy new than ship our stuff over from NZ.

what do you do for work? It is a big decision but most people know when they are ready to go back. We go back in January from New Zealand, been here a few years and just feel like going...
