just an update, my childern are loving school, lovely place with good standards and really good staff. sorted a couple of vehicles out bought one with rego/rwc and one of ebay both are still going...

i forgot about that!
but have found that snapper is nicer/better than barrimundi from the chippy.

i'll have to look in coles for smoked bacon, cumberland sausges would be nice.might have to try...

Normally I'm fine and don't miss any, but recently have had a hankering for pork sausages (had some from the local butcher but they weren't nice) and smoked bacon. Curries I tend to try to make...

Thank you, it would have to be beach cricket as the rental hasn't got much of a back yard..

Well we've made it, we're here looking forward to Christmas Day - beach in the morning I think.
Customs were a bit of a mare due to shippers listing most of packing as a box.

grandparents are starts to give us stuff to take with us, so we now have my old train set. my children love it and i haven't even plugged it in yet :lol:

we have a couple of cheap 7" android tablets for the children at the moment (lots of spelling games, puzzles and a few silly games). so they are used to them. but as for school work i just don't get...

right after clearing out so of the junk we have collected over the years, we are still left with much more :rofl:.
we are going to rent our house out so those little things that have been 'i'll get...

I'm rather partial to a full English, but that I can cook in Oz, we are lucky that we have to our taste a good Indian,Chinese and fish and chips(loverly thick chips) all within walking distance

hi stevenglish, i dont remember the pop, but the willis looks familiar, braintree showground was quite local. might going to beaulieu hotrod show before we leave for Oz.

yep, qld.

i did find and download the gov.au pdf for building a hotrod. i thought i'd ask as distances are quite vast in oz and i saw only one last time i was out there.
