Australia and hotrods
Is there much of a hotrod scene in Australia ?
I've been to a few shows in the UK and wondered is there much going on in Australia.
I don't mean pimped falcons/commodores.

There is in Brisbane, but its very niche.
There used to be like a weekly meetup at some pub, but i am buggered if I can remember the name.

Yehp definitely, Castlemaine in Victoria is dedicated to the sport and is seen as the Hotrod capitol of Australia.

In VIC there is a car scene for most tastes including hot rods, and a subgenre of that, the name escapes me now, classic....you name it.

not really, too much traffic, nothing more embarrassing than sitting in your purple flare monaro going 4klm an hour.
