I was told soon after our wedding by the local CIS office that because I was under the VWP, it wasn't possible because the terms and conditions of the waiver say that you're not allowed to adjust...

I can agree with the cabbie. My mum white-knuckles it when sitting in the drivers seat over here. She loves driving but she's scared of the roads :(

I used to love my local Brit/Irish store, because they had a decent deli counter filled with proper cut bacon, sausage rolls, pork pies and other stuff. They also had a good selection of Walkers :D

I thought the same thing about Memphis, I stopped there recently when I was on my way to Nashville. I love Nashville though, I'd like to live there someday :)

Where is it you live? Our local specialty Irish/Brit store closed down through lack of business and now I can't buy Lucozade. I'd kill for some, even if it means travelling over state lines :rofl:
