Default British Rock

Been following a few threads on Led Zeps reunion and such, and was wondering what opinions you guys had on British Rock. Why is it that 90% of all the best and most influencal bands come from the UK?

The Devil's Candy, my sadistic american dentist calls it.

Talking about rockers, I once met Robert Plant and mistook him for Noddy Holden.

90% hang on, that's a bit much,

what about AC/DC, guns n roses, The doors, Rage against the machine, QOTSA, White Stripes, Hendrix, Faith No more, Pearl Jam, etc etc the list goes on, which have been as influencial as Led Zep, Black sabbath, Rolling Stones

I do think maybe the US had more poodle rock possibly

Yeah, but most of the bands you listed, with the exception of Hendrix and Doors were influenced by earlier Brit bands!

British music has always been better and influenced other musicians. Brits emotion flows from the heart not the arse.
