Is it still worth submitting and EOI?

I know that INZ have deferred the selection of EOI's for residence for 6 months from 19th October 2020. To be reviewed again in 2021. Link below.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I have heard Cambridge is a nice place to live and not too far from Hamilton.
I spoke to an agent today and got the impression there was little available in Hamilton...

Well we tend to regret the things we don't do more than the things we do. At least you'll know.
If I do go it will likely be Auckland because of the work but if I had a choice it would be Tauranga.

I'm also 52 but I don't have any ties to NZ. I want to emigrate as like you I don't like the direction the UK and Europe is going.

i'm quite familiar with Melbourne and Sydney .Yes its closer to the Sydney climate from what I could see of the facts and figures.
But cooler, cloudier and slightly wetter. Not the extremes of heat...

If I refine it to 'Auckland' and level 'experienced' it gives : "An Experienced SAP Consultant in Auckland earns an average salary of NZ$130,725 per year".

I think a worry is the size of the economy.
I guess as double glazing and insulation are rare it's probably expensive to have installed?
I didn't realise you could grow oranges in Auckland plus...

Thanks. I'm not too sure how IT salaries compare. SAP in particular.
I live in an expensive part of the UK. About 30 miles from central London. So I guess Auckland is like for like in that respect....
