Re: Family options

This is fine. Her father is happy to agree to this and more than willing to cooperate. Step daughter has lived with mum since she was born. We can provide ample proof for CIC.

Re: Life In New Brunswick

I tend to find the majority of the Chinese take-aways in Moncton serve up the same old thing. Not exactly authentic Chinese food which I do miss from the Chinese back in the UK. It seems the local...

Thanks for the info. Our local tv provider has been promising to bring Setanta for months and months now but still nothing. I might check this out.

New Brunswick fishing

For those who fish in New Brunswick (and other Maritime provinces) I recently started a new forum and was hoping to attract new members. I was a member of a popular fishing forum in NB however it has...

Re: H and R Block

We usually use Quicktax, it`s free if your income is under 20 grand or something like that.

This year Mrs Kosh decided to file hers by snail mail which kind of annoyed me, but there you go, a...

Re: Attn Fisherman!

Licenses are crazy cheap here. I was shocked when I picked up my freshwater license the other day for a measly $22:ohmy: and fro the local convenience store too. Can`t even remember what my old...

Re: Plain flour

Can`t remember, but I`ve tried a couple of those pancake mixes but I just don`t like the "spongy" texture of the pancakes here if that makes sense. I just like our yorkshire pudding batter mix.

Re: Plain flour

Yes that "all purpose flour" certainly doesn`t seem like plain flour to me. Tried making some pancakes (crepes) but the flour just didn`t seem to act the same. I can`t stomach the pancakes over here,...

Plain flour

Looking for plain flour, am I right in thinking plain flour over here in Canada is called "all purpose flour"?

I tried using that but it just doesn`t seem to cook the same as "uk" plain flour.

Re: Another quick Child Benefit question !

No I think it runs from summer to summer, July is usually the month they review CCTB, GST and other benefit payments, or it could be June. Is that what you were asking?

Re: Are you from Australia....... er, No.

Yes, Australian is a popular one for me, occasionally I get South African. Once or twice I`ve even been asked if I am from Cape Breton or Newfoundland!

Re: Tax refund

Yeah, another area I like to avoid, the stretch from Superstore down to Acadie Av. Traffic in Dieppe is getting bad.

We moved from Dieppe late last year, we`re now up near Magnetic hill.

Re: Can't be with my Canadian wife while sponsorship app is processed

Yes I`m sure you can stay in the country while an inland application is being processed. Even if your status has expired, I think they call it a "stay" until CIC has made a decision on the PR...
