If they pull out for any reason you can keep all of the deposit. It is a moral issue now, if the reasons are good you could decide although you have spent money and time travelling here.

UPDATE, I have been told to fill in N138 form to pay voluntary Nic's while abroad. They will send me a bill of how much arrears I can pay and I can do direct debit for future years.

Lorna I agree with the first part, but the school takes 27% in tax on the gross amount. As I have to file a tax return I claim it back. I usually receive it after a year. I wanted to know if I earn ...
