Yes, Walnut Grove is a nice place to be with young kids - lots to do at Walnut Grove Rec Centre (Fantastic pool), nice play parks and trails along the ravines. Not much new housing development...

No, no, I use plenty of alcohol-based preservative (Shiraz / Merlot etc). Seems to have prevented mould thus far, but just to be safe, I will add additional doses of white wine on hot sunny...

We showed our employers - we used the cover letter to explain that all the company needed to do was provide a job offer (which matched the exemption exceptions)- we would then sort out the work...

Yes, we came out last May with a WP issued by London, without an LMO - my OH is a .net / c# developer. All worked out very well, we are now Premenant Residents and loving it

I agree with JonboyE above - I live in Yorkson (just off 208st, south of Highway1) which is part of Willoughby and it's a great place to move in with young kids - loads of other new families around,...

We had to put 20% down to avoid the insurance - applies to all mortgage applications regardless of PR / WP / Citizen etc

Yes we did, we are here on a WP (passports for PR currently at CHC London(I think?!?)) We were not intending to buy initially but the mortgage was cheaper than rent on a similar house and house...

Wow - same boat as us - our passports arrived in London 2 weeks ago and nothing yet - What are the chances they will use the Fed Ex envelope I sent??? Will I ever see our passports again??:unsure:
