How do you become a resident in Portugal?

Hi everyone,

I need to become a resident of Portugal, does anyone know exactly where the nearest office is to me, in live in Lagos.

Do I need licence to rent out my villa?

Due to lack of funds i am having to rent out my house.

I have been told many different things regarding licences.

How much do they cost and are they annual?

Would like some advice.

Yes my family and I live in Lagos, and have been here for almost a year, although we are not residents and are not working here.

We have found it very difficult to find work here...

I need a Doctor in Lagos ,but do I need health insurance.

I am still resident in the UK and not working.

i think my builder has charged me for something that I don't have.

The sun will warm the pool to a temperature of 25 degrees anyway.Don't supose you know how many solar panels I...

Thankyou jdr I don't supose you know exactly when this was brought in do you,because I think the builder will use the date from when he applied for planning permission.

Yes mattiespeople a new build has to include solar panels" TO HEAT THE WATER!!!!!" I did check my paperwork.

Thanks gazz I assumed the agents were trying to gey the best deal and the same goes for mortgage broker.

But surely there has to be some protection against this practice.
