We are in the same position as you only we've bought on Cabanas Beach 1. It should have been ready in summer we had to rent 3 weeks somewhere, again in October it doesn't look as tho' it will be...

Hi,
That train does go as far as Cabanas Golf complex, it runs all the way thro' the village down to the boat to the beach, but don't know how often, it seemed a lot tho'.

I would advise trying local bank Banco Espirito Santo in Tavira, ask for Sara Mariano (mortgage adviser and speaks excellent english) rates in Portugal are more competitive.
