Hi .the voltage at your fuse board /consumer unit may have sufficient incoming voltage , but the socket you are trying the appliance in could be wired in undersize cable which the spanish are fond of...

The only reason ex guitar vocalist 7 nights a week performing and electrics in the day somethings got to give .And you have to have a social life and the electrics did pay better and the bars in uk...
