No I didn't file any taxes - I have not worked nor received any money at any time when I was in the USA last year.

I entered the USA on my Visa (the one they stamp/stick in your passport) last year, which I had to do as the 6-month validity period was about to expire. We only stayed for a couple of weeks in order...

I think there is a misunderstanding about my question/predicament. I am not leaving the USA for a trip/holiday to the UK - I am going to the USA from the UK, only that I have already entered the USA...
