Thanks for the messages guys. Hubby's occupation is on the current list, but it is the one he did in the Royal Navy 5 years ago not what he does now (not sure if that matters) but without job offer...

Tried to ring CIC London on Mission Tel Number given on their website. Impossible to speak to anyone on our case, all recorded information. Due to Canadian Privacy laws cannot discuss status of cases...
