If coming over as an Advanced Care Paramedic then your basic is approx. $48,000.00, this is what you need to put down as the penalties aren't guaranteed.

Since arriving here these are the best things I've found about the QAS:


Salary Sacrificing.
9 Weeks Leave.
Pay Day.
Superannuation - QSuper (pension).
Off Days!

Hope this helps.
Your GROSS annual salary as an Advanced Care Paramedic will be $46,000 plus penalty rates and OT putting you around $60,000 give or take.
There is always plenty of overtime...
