Bit of an anti climax at first ..............then complete and utter joy and RELIEF!!!! :rofl:

Got the official letter today!! :)

It was an airmail, normal post from Oz! CO said London would confirm!

Not sure if anyone really knows what going on :unsure:

In answer to your question, we looked up the letter and its asked for our second VAC by 28th May and our inital entry date is no later than the 19th...

We contacted POPC this morning and spoke to our CO and he looked our case up and said that our visa was issued TODAY and that we will be informed via London. :thumbsup:

He also confirmed...

No we havent got an agent.

Thought we may ask our son to pay it and then pay him or possibly talk to our bank (Baclays) and sse if they can help. Not too sure about credit card?

We were told by our CO approx. a month ago that they would expect to ask us for the second payment in June as we had already lodged our AOS in Dec '07.

Its not a great situation at the moment and its very frustating to be so close

However, not a lot we can do with the present situation ie visa, houses or pound vs dollar....

We are in the same boat as you,just waiting for the 2nd vac ,however we havent had any responce in selling our house so perhaps its all for agood reason,figers crossed as we both well...
