Want to put £250,000 tax free in the UK, waiting for the CAD v GBP to recover...any good suggestions?? Best rates I've seen are Bradford and Bingley( 6.3% ) and Abbey....stayed clear of ICIC bank as...

Insurance for my Cat

Anyone taken out insurance in Canada for their cat...is it the same as the UK? Do any UK providers insure Cats abroad...Tesco doesn't !

We've bought a house in Calgary and fortunately had sold our UK house (exchanged) and completing on the 5.10. We planned ahead and "booked" a rate with Halo Financial at 2.14....weeks before,...

I went out Feb this year did the whole tests:thumbsup: and fly out for good on the 11th Oct...went through PNP and should be in class on th 10th Dec..If you want to PM me than you could call...

Can I ask...those of you that are in the know....what is a reasonable "haircut" that traders shave of the rates. We have to orders in for £200K at 2.15 and another £100K at 2.14...trader reckons...

Got a job with CPS so lots to look forward to...its not as if the family is all in the Uk, brother in Tazmania, one in Saudi and the other soon to France....so may as well keep it in...

Can you continue to pay the UK state pension, or is that a waste of time. I have 20yrs contributions and will they pay it to me when Im in Canada...what contribution do you make to Canada akin to UK...

That makes it clearer. I have kept my letters with max NCB. Next nightmare is finding a dealer to buy the car from!! What extras do you pay ontop of screen prices and are they negotiable??
