As regards checking out Duja....I asked the first solicitor we used to check them out..response was not a problem.This solicitor went to work for local authority and used another solicitor..and asked...

Duja are insolvent.The builders Luz & Alves are also insolvent...so there is no build warranty.
Bes bank own all of Dujas apartments and villa,s.

Unfortunately there is nobody to pursue....nobody...

The system used was that sealed bids were invited for each of the properties.When the envelopes were opened if BES bank were not the winning bid they increased their bid to 1p more than the winning...

I can understand your stance because it is what I feel..but as annoying as it is I have decided the only sensible option is to pay up.
We have paid a lot for our apartment and it is excellent...

The facts..block 33 on phase 2.With Duja rentals 20 apartments(out of 45) will pay the condominium fees.Cost per month 95 euro's or 1140 a year...will be collected monthly by direct debit by Amandio...

The above post is a correct assessment of how things stand at present.
We weren't forced to have this condominium but there was no real alternative if we wanted to maintain our apartments properly....

Duja Portugal are a separate company from Duja Spain.
It appears that a vast number of people bought thru Roseberrys.
Not only have they caused buyers problems certainly done Duja no favours.

I stopped sending e mails as did not get a response.

I now send a fax..I then have the confirmation slip that they have received it.

No response from Duja or Tavigest re unauthorised appointment of Condiminium company.

The main front in Cabanas has been dug up and at the moment is all sand
and a new wall is being built along...

Duja had the properties built and obviously try and find buyers thru various companies who get a good commission.

A lot of people have been left in a bad position...and obviously want to minimise...

Beach 2 build had not started in August.Beach 1 and Golf are finished.
There are probably apartments for sale on both.We are on Golf and made the right choice

You are picking the best time to buy now the build is finished..cannot comment on the villas but the build of the apartments is excellent.
Great place to holiday..no regrets here
