We cannot wait to go to Hamilton Island it sounds beautiful, I know we have 3 children in toe but I'm sure they will be fine (if they are'nt I know me and my OH will be!!!).

Thanks alot - I don't mean to sound "stupid" about making an issue over the dog - but one thread I read was very negative about bringing dogs. So it kinda makes you think!

I to have heard that there is not many places to let the dog off the lead which is quite a worry as my dog is let off every moment that I can. Surely there must be parks etc....

We are flying to Brisbane (surfers Paradise), then onto Hamilton Island, from there to Adelaide (I have family there) and then onto Sydney - we are so looking forward to it. I think you are correct...
