So when I return from Oz, there will be lots of thinking!
Where are you staying in Adelaide? So many wonderful things to see.
Must warn you though - if you are taken out of the airpot via the 'Back route' you will wonder where you have gone too. My uncle knows all the dodges around the airport and it looked as rough as old dogs!!! I had me a mini panic thinking thank god we didn't just up sticks - BBUUUUTTTTTT, as soon as you get away from that bit, Adelaide is wonderful - there are little bits that are a tad yuk! but hey, there are plenty of places that are a lot yuk over here.
Keep your Rose tinted glasses off and remember what the UK is like. I am sure you will love Oz.

Thanks for your reply. How do your kids feel moving to Oz? Obviously once we have been (we go in 3 weeks) I think "hopefully" we should get the feel of it. My OH has a friend who lives with his family at the Goldcoast and they love it - so I shall be asking him a lot of questions!!! No matter how much I read on this site "good and bad" I still feel very shakey on making that decision to get the visa's going. I am sure we will love it out there, but to live for a few years?? who knows?? Take care.

We have a dog to, that was one of my other concerns - would he settle ok - I assume they do, they just have to get used to the heat.
I'm sure your 10 year old child will settle, you just have to give them time. I think it really helps if you have someone already out there to give you alot more confidence and help. I will let you know how my holiday in oz goes, we fly Thurs 15 March and back Fri 13 April.
