You dont need a TRA to go on a 457 visa but will need it for a perm visa. My OH decided to to his TRA in the uk as it would be easier than trying to get the info from Oz. But bare in mind this...

Billy went to see the Doc the other week it cost him $50 to see him & I think $15 for prescription. I think you get roughly $30 back on medicare altho OH has yet to do this :frown:

Just be aware that if you move to Perth on a 457 visa yes you do have to get FIRB approval which our estate agents forgot to tell us but also you dont get the first time buyers grant of $7000...

Ours cost £75 per x ray for the 4 of us
and £110 for our 16 yr olds med and £65 for our 12 yr olds med
if children are going into a school or education set up they require medicals
plus £65...

well the panel doc at abermed in glasgow had no problems holding ours till we notified them of our TRN
meds done 25th june and were held till 11th July
