If you are returning to the UK after 2 years in Canada on a work permit ...

If you are returning to the UK after 2 years in Canada on a work permit are you entitled to apply for return of the monies paid into Canada Pension Plan?

This is not me asking - I'm going nowhere...

I may well be wrong but do you not need to spend something like 3 years out of 5 in Canada to not have to reapply for PR. It could be that you may have that to look forward to as you have not been in...

I live in Southern Sask and have farmer friends who came over from the UK and seem to be doing very well.
I should imagine you have already done some investigation into the area you are looking to...

On the plus side - if, like me, you have to send money back to the UK to service UK commitments it is a great exchange rate! :thumbup:

Yay - Passports are back and we have landed!

Hi guys

We got our passports back from London today and went straight to the US Border to get landed. What a huge feeling of relief!

It took 1 year exactly from start to finish of the PR...
