On our Acron site solar panels are installed for water heating only, they really work a treat. Another luxury we have is a piped gas supply, a real blessing.

I applied for a years visa on line, posted it off to the London office last Monday morning and received it back on Friday.
This has got to be a record, guess they aren't very busy...

Hi All,
Thanks for the advice, just found out that Vodafone don't yet offer Pay as you go access to the internet in Goa, so looks like I'll have to switch companies.

I flew with Jet Airways in September. Very good flight, my bag's were checked all the way through to Goa but I did have to identify them at Mumbai.

thank you very much for the info. It does seem a little relaxed regarding the insurance when you think of the driving standards out there. Maybe thats why so many have religious symbols...

Your friends are indeed very lucky, I've just had my request for a Two year tourist visa turned down and my £90 postal order returned with a message saying that the India embassy...

Regarding the "Freehold / Leasehold" price.
This is the "going rate" price as Acron charge the same price to Indians as they do "Foreigners" . If one is not happy with it , go else...

Most of us only want to be a "tourist", England in the Summer, Goa in the winter, then you don't lose any UK "perks" by being non resident.
