It's okay, I'm good at waiting after having gone through the skilled worker process! Thanks for the info though. I phoned up the BCIT last week and spoke to the really helpful course administrator...

BIG thanks for tip no 1. - we're about to ship stuff in the next 2 weeks, and it would've hit us like a clanger that we'd sent our passports off with all our box files of paperwork!! Phew!

Thank for the info. Did you mean that the code ISNT that bad when you read it? RE the testing, do you mean that it's not as in depth as the UK.
