I'm not sure about Canadian healthcare but lets say you get a heart condition in which surgery is needed or you will die you later find out that Canada will not pay for this operation but the UK will...

I still pay English taxes the reason i am saying this is because i can see that if someone was in the position i described above i would not want them to have a 'moral dilema' when most of us on here...

I can honestly say that i have never used the NHS for anything (except as a minor) and yet as a smoker and obviously as a tax payer i have paid into the heathcare more money than i would like to know...

It all depends on the window and the existing rod...You can buy all types of rods but i think the most prefered are loops in the fabric itself.

i'm sure they are starting to standardize window...

Yeah which is the reason for all the questioning, i have found a company that will come around and give me a quote for the job and will post what they tell me just for future reference for the expats.

The problem is that the house is 50 years old and over the years it has sunk slightly on both sides of the house.

There is no foundation issue or anything like that it has just left me...

Exactly i think part of the trouble is that Canadians don't really know how a manual car actually works, unlike us brits they will pass in an auto and then try manual and eventually they slowly learn...

Like i said i drive automatic so it doesn't really affect me but if my wheels span everytime i tried to accelerate i can see why people might prefer to have snow tires.

Winnipeg this year has been good to be honest only one bad storm but then again it was between -20 and -40 for around 6 weeks. and when it's cold it doesn't snow.

Further to this, the website i provided was for Manitoba and not for all of Canada but it will give you at least some aspect of the service as it is province specific.
