I bought it privately off an old couple in Nowra that I found in the Trading Post. Basically got the train there and then drove it back to Sydney. It cost around $7000.

Males are usually very small - about a third of the size of females. They are also usually white and brown. Apparently their little jaws aren't man enough to bite us properly but I'm not going to...

BTW, it's definitely female. The males are tiny little things and not even black.

It's a redback alright. Kill it! Unless of course you just want to take it outside somewhere and throw it in a bush. Personally I don't like to handle them :blink:

They were granted just before we left the UK so we don't need to do anything else except go to the visa place here in Melbourne and get the labels put into our passports. :cool:

So far it's paid off...

I'm in Melbourne already working on the 457 visa. We got them 2 days before we flew, which was nice. The house sale is now ready for completion and should go through this...

The packers were here yesterday so our wordly possessions are already on their way to Melbourne.

Our 457 visas haven't been granted yet :scared:
