Some people don't consider other peoples reactions before they do things, which is sad really. I don't believe he would have put his child at risk intentionally, it just wasn't very well though out....

Timothy Treadwell, although well meaning, came accross as very unstable. Steve Irwin was the complete opposite. He was just very enthusiastic!

Sad as it sounds we feel like we've lost a family member. :(

We've loved Steve Irwin for years, in fact since he first started out. He creates mixed feelings in people but we admired his work...

Didn't bite... I'm too sweet for that!! :D

Tortoises didn't arrive because UK customs wouldn't allow them on the flight due to imcomplete paperwork!! Long story so I'll tell you when I see you....

We've learnt that once children learn to talk you can no longer blame them!!.. :D

At least when we tell the dogs off for it they have the decency to look guilty, even when they're innocent :p

Wow, those photos were really impressive! How did you manage that???

I only got a decent photo of the bear!! A poor evening photo of the moose and absolutely no chance of catching the others on...

We saw our first live skunk today. It was skipping over the road like Pepe Le Pue and then aimed it's stink bomb at the car!! :eek: Luckily we managed to swerve to avoid the yellow cloud! :D

The only trouble I had when I shipped my dog over from the UK to Calgary was prying him away from the animal customs staff at the airport!!!! They were fantastic with him and we had no problems...

An acreage is a farm. Even if it's only got half an acre of land they still call it an acreage! We're hoping to find a house/bungalow with about 80 - 160 acres of land that is part cleared horse...

Hi people
This is our very first ever post.... :D

We are living in a very nice house in a nice community in Calgary. Like many others we find it quite costly living here, but love it anyway....
