I did this at the end of June for my passport that was 5 months expired and my daughter whose passport was 4 months expired. I made the appointment at the phone to visit the Toronto office at 777 Bay...

Hi Joycejimi,

For Child Benefit, you do have to meet the residential and income criteria to be eligible. It makes quite meaty reading though,check www.cra.gc.ca you will find the link to child...

Hi Joycejimi,

Landing was a breeze, I was expecting a more more scarier experience.We had all our documents in a neat plastic folder, so we could yank out our COPR's and anything else the officer...

Hi again Joycejimi,

We are back in the UK (London) after landing at Pearson on 23rd July. We stayed only for 12 days to complete the landing process (ECAS now says complete) Yay!

Our SIN cards...

We are pretty much the same as everyone else, house to sell etc . We landed 2 weeks ago (as a family of 7) and were only asked how much cash do we have WITH us. I replied CAD3600.00, this was noted...

just got in from work and had to reply,

I did secondary school up until age 16 (same as everyone else)
then

BEC General 1 year course age 16 to 17
BTEC National Diploma 2 year...

oicur0t,

you should be fine with your BTEC National Diploma, as it is POST secondary education. I also have a BTEC Nat Diploma with 14 yrs education (20 points) and have received my visa.

Smile 90 Day Letter Received today Aor May 9 2006

Hi everyone,

Our application was signed for at CHC on 20th April 2006, AOR 9 May 2006 (42 Months Quoted).

The 90 Day Letter was dated 30 June 2008.
