I was thinking more that it would give them more options, and possibly cheaper flights, by opening up other airports. If they could get a cheaper flight arrving in Sydney rather than Brisbane then...

They should be able to get connecting flights that fly into the Sunshine Coast airport. It would be even easier to get from there to Maroochydore.

And there does seem to be a lot of Brits coming across to the Sunshine Coast recently.

My wife, little boy (2) and I moved out to Buderim in Dec last year. It's a great place to live.
