Andrew and Britishvixen are right, don’t jeopardise your application. Go for the meds and land in Canada then come back to the UK. You can return within reason when you desire.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they come from the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia. We landed in Toronto on 09/03/05 and got our PR cards on 23/03/05.
