Re: London Cuppa vs. Yorkshire Tea

I still prefer Yorkshire Red, but I liked London Cuppa. Another tea I've been drinking lately is Whittard's, which I found in Chile last June/July. But it's almost time to replenish my tea...

Re: Planning for the future

Are you trying to tell me that the Sacred Flying Teapot up in the sky that will be in the line of sight between Mercury and Deep Space Nine on 21.12.2012 is not an omen of impending doom?

Re: FAMOUS CANADIANS

Ah, finally! Rush rocks! My favourite band ever! But then, there's also Triumph.

Here are the other ones I know of:

Marshall McLuhan
David Suzuki
John Kenneth Galbraith

and Steven Pinker.

Re: FAMOUS CANADIANS

Didn't know he was Canadian, but this is one of the most beautiful poems I know. Sad, no doubt, but beautiful nevertheless.

Lady Londonderry Tea - Where can I find it?

Does anyone know where to find it on-line? The only time I had it was in the early 90s, when my mom brought it from Canada. The tea was made by Jacksons of Piccadilly. Apparently, JofP no longer...

Re: Beware the snow police

This is something that I haven't been able to quite understand yet. If you can't dump the snow on the street or in front of your neighbour's pavement, where are you supposed to put it? In your living...

Re: Tastes like Heinz beans

I think I read somewhere (probably here) that the UK Heinz beans recipe (or some ingredients therein) was (were) no longer used in Canada due to some technical requirements by the Canadian Ministry...

Re: London Cuppa vs. Yorkshire Tea

I'll definitely try it, then. I found 440 teabags (1 kilo) for US$24.95 plus s&h. (US$10.61 UPS Standard Ground to Nevada). I think that's a very reasonable price.
