We did eaxactly what you suggested....

We kept them (esp 6 yr old, involved and informed throughout the whole thing) ... we set up web...

I had a great income in UK......now its NIL as gone back to do a postgrad course to re-licence here.

It will also take me a while to get anywhere near my old salary....but thats not our priorty....

Over the last two weeks......I made the decision to retrain in Canada and just started a full time Postgrad course :scared:

I haven't really studied full time since I graduated in law back...

Not sure whether u can just leave canada and U-turn .... We crossed at the Rainbow bridge.

At US side, stated we just want to re-enter for landing purposes. The US immigration asked many questions...

Thats interesting.....how is this done as I'm about to take up dental insurance through Blue Cross ($114pm for family of 4 ... even then claims are capped!)

Thats correct. IR35 rule was introduced to stop this.....it was aimed at mainly IT contractors paying themselves a low salary and high dividends....but caught out many other proffessions/trades too....
