No probs, as far as I know there should be a dept similar to DECS in every state as if you are employed in a State school you are employed by the Dept not the school. There should also be a Teacher...

Sa are still doing STNI but the occupation list has just been changed. You do need a firm job offer if you work in the IT sector. You can check the information on the SA immigration website...
