Re: Emigrating with an auto immune disease

Sorry to chime in, but RA may cause degenerative changes of the joints and the tendons, but it is not degenerative as much as it's an autoimmune condition, where the body's immune system inexplicably...

Re: The A O S BOND Trap!

Oh dear. I'm so so sorry to hear about this ... but, if I'm not being too presumptuous to ask, is it common that the visa process be so ghastly expensive!? $100,000 is an enormous, ridiculously...

Re: Advice &/or tips on upcoming Sydney move in 2021

Well, at the risk of sideswiping and derailing the original topic of conversation, I guess I should say that it wasn't an entirely difficult decision for me. I've not been back to Blighty for some 30...

Re: Manchester

Let's be upfront and just say it as it is: it's only one particular "culture/religion" that seems to be making the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath...

Re: Wedding Pot Fund - British to open a Joint Account with Foreign Fiance

20 odd years ago, I met my then girlfriend in Singapore. A couple of years later, we got married. My family flew down to Singapore and we had a small, intimate wedding - only close family members...

Re: Would you swap a comfortable life in England for a life in Iskandar?

Be careful of scratching that itch... a comfortable (albeit predictable, routine - and dare I even say it, boring) life in England (the weather be damned) is still better than finding out that MM2H...

Re: Emigrating to Oz when 50

Oops. I only read the OP's first post. I didn't catch the part where she stated her occupation. My apologies!

Having said that, a Visa 188 Significant Investor route only requires the investment,...
