Well see that's the dilemma... right now there is no 'table' to live under... all hypothetical thus the inquiry.
on the other hand right now i need a 6 month vacation!

thanks for that granted the officers can do what they wish at the POE on any given day although we've never had an issue with that in the past. proof of ties to the US
is no problem.

the more and more i look at this the worse it gets! medicals,police checks (not that it's a worry), length of processing time, fees for QC on top of other fees etc etc.
since working is not an...

so 3 years residence as a PR first, but appears one can sponsor a spouse for PR status while living together in Canada if i read it correctly?

ughh looking over the wiki and CDN website maybe it would be better if we both became dual US CDN citizens and be done with the whole mess....
for a bunch of fees of course! will have to see. ...

don't know about the reverse but always thought u need a GC or some kind of visa/work permit to live and work in the US of A ... anyway we don't need the option of working in Canada.

ya sorry gang i'm dual Canadian British citizen born MTL spouse USC... so question still remains can spouse move without visa or no ??

thanks for that. i'd rather not go through long drawn out process. how do you get a spouse visa and why would be necessary just to move there? what is the time line for spouse PR status ?

you still have your card right?
my experience was that at the biometrics appointment i received a sticker on the back of my (ahem.. way way expired..) green card extending the validity for 9 months....

1) my biometrics were scheduled at the field office (ASC) closest to my physical address, so your choice.

2) hmm valid now but less than 6...
