Peter Tosh and Jimmy Cliff; probably the most grass I've ever seen in one room.

Fairly close, Meridian Vale.
I recall while playing my record player loudly one evening, my Mother shouting "we've just had a call from Clifton Police about the noise” - and me, quick as a flash calling back "There's no such thing as Clifton Police!" Cue another thick ear!

First concert was Madstock III ( Jun 22, 1996) . Fantastic line-up, including The James Taylor Quartet, but of course Madness being the best.
Next was I think a local concert, which I mainly went to for The James Taylor Quartet, probably 1997
There was another Madstock concert (Jun 07, 1998)
Next was Tina Turner at the old Wembley Stadium, (July 15, 2000)
Last concert was Pearl Jam in Toronto in 2016.

Just catching up on this thread, and can't believe that anyone recalls The Edgar Broughton Band. I can hear Edgar now:
Out Demons Out
Out Demons Out
Count me in for Isle of Wight Festival 1969, if that can be described as a Pop Concert.
Is this forum some sort of virtual OAP nursing home?
