Well I was born in Coburg, so it can't be all bad! Again, it should be pretty affordable suburbia and would have plenty of cheap 'student' accomodation or low-midrange houses. Not that far out and...

With digital, when you see the picture it's either perfect or nothing - if you're in a bad reception area or have a poor aerial - going digital won't help you, you'll just see total dropouts instead...

I've lived in Melb and Newcastle (NSW) and have spent some time in Bris... Bris is too hot/humid for me half the year and just too small. There's so much more happening in and around Melbourne.

Bite opposing corners off and slurp up your poison of choice! Baileys is highly recommended, Kahlua, or warm port if you're out camping!! You have to be quick though, it gets slushy really...
