I too want to return to the UK. This is my second time in the US and I feel it's not where I want to be. I came back for my husband's job and have now been her two years this July....

Yes the US do want to keep my OH, and we could switch to green cards later.

I just worry about my kids growing up in the US longer term. Things like Health care being a particular concern.......

The kids are 7 & 5 they would be 10 & 8 when we do the split base if that's what happens in the future.

I have got a renewable 6 year visa with my employer. I think I could probably handle the travel etc. I do a fair bit of travelling to Europe with my job - so don't think it would be a problem.
