No, I did not reply but last week i received a letter from the Visa officer advising me that they already finished reviewing my application. Interview is not necessary in my case at this time.

Based on your feedback, I think there is no such thing as "Canadian accent" due to varied background of immigrants. The important thing is that we understand each other when we communicate.
