based on my illustration, i dont think one is allowed or safe to land between Jan to March 2006 considering the validity of the passport which is June 2006? yes, u are right, the safest...

i understand that Visa validity is good for 1 year from the date of medical exams. i further understand that passport validity should be at least six months before its expiration....

we filed our application in Oct 2001 in Manila. Latest update is that we received an interview waiver last Jan 6, 2005 but we have to submit updated docs e.g. latest NBI police...

No, it was a personalized letter and there was no mention of medical examination. btw, can u share with us your timeline and status of your case?

No, I did not reply but last week i received a letter from the Visa officer advising me that they already finished reviewing my application. Interview is not necessary in my case at this time.

Based on your feedback, I think there is no such thing as "Canadian accent" due to varied background of immigrants. The important thing is that we understand each other when we communicate.
