Hi BritInParis , my mom finally received her approval today. Feb 10, 2024 she submitted her application. Now we wait to schedule the ceremony. Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for the info.... I paid £130 for the ceremony.

I was going to do MN1, which is expensive... being able to do UKM I'll only have to pay the ceremony fees for him, which is great!

Timeline:
Feb. 17th 2024 mailed application
Mar. 18th 2024 Biometrics appointment
Aug. 30th 2024 sent...

I want to say yes, but I can't remember. It's been a while since I filled out the form. I also put the information in a cover letter. I just passed my 6 month mark from sending in my application...

BritInParis My mom's US passport is about to expire, she has her original as she sent in copies of it with her application. Will renewing her US passport cause any issues for her UK citizenship...
