Ahhhh, thanks for that! I have been using Wise as recommended by yourself 🙂 so opening an account should be simple and that will also make the transfers and movement of funds easy.

I'm in a similar situation -

Returning from the USA and buying a house and bringing the family back. All funds will be net of taxes paid here in the USA and so not subject to tax in the UK. But...

Tarporley is now firmly on the list ! It has excellent schools ... based on multiple sources, they are grading out to be some of the best ! My only pre-visit reservation is how small or remote it...
