The breakdown into allowances are per law, and you will not have to pay anything out of that. However, for a 2 bed room it's 4000 sar which you have to pay if you get one of those.

That's not correct, based on several colleagues and myself. Your passport decides your base.

For some this might be an issue as they could be citizens of one country but living somewhere else...

If you get grade 6, then you will be put in as a manager in the system. The grades are also used for promotion, so you would be promoted from 6 to 7 and still be a manager. Only when you go 7 to 8,...

Entry level - 1-2
Specialist/Lead/Analyst - 3-5
Manager - 6-7
Senior manager - 8

I also used them, and for other than UAE/Dubai where they're based, their services are awful. In my case, they basically "subcontracted" my case to the local CIBT office in my country (not Germany...

The SMPs come with different contracts, and benefits differ. Those I've spoken to, have to pay for their own accommodation and food. But those might be covered under your contract, so it all depends....
